Garden Update

My seeds are germinating nicely and there are sprouts everywhere --The tomato plant (pictured below) is several inches tall after only 10 days!



The cucumber & pepper seeds were not germinating so I replanted them and hope they will sprout quickly.

So far so good :)

    Once your tomatoes put out their first set of true leaves, I'd advise you to pinch off the smaller of the two - whichever that is - as low as you can.

    You don't want to grow two full-sized tomato plants in the same pot, and you don't want to try to pull the runt out because that will damage the roots of the other one. Just cut it off low down and everything will be fine.

    At least that's my advice.
